Oklahoma State University’s full-time MBA program keeps climbing national rankings.
The Spears School of Business jumped 18 spots to No. 58 in the U.S. News & World Report
ranking of the best full-time MBA programs. This news comes just a year after Spears Business rose 22 spots to No. 76.
OSU’s full-time MBA program holds the top spot in the state of Oklahoma.
The business school has experienced an overall ranking surge, as Spears Business is
tied for No. 8 in the U.S. News and World Report rankings of Best Online Bachelor’s in Business
Programs. Additionally, Fortune.com lists OSU’s master’s in business analytics and
data science (MS BAnDS) in-person program as No. 2 in the nation, trailing only Harvard University.
“Our continued rise in rankings for the MBA program and, indeed, other graduate programs
in business is reflective of the combined efforts of Spears Business administration,
the Watson Graduate School of Management team, and, of course, our faculty and the
students,” said Dr. Ramesh Sharda, vice dean for research and graduate programs. “Our
4+1 and dual-degree program initiatives, as well as innovations in the online space,
have had a major impact on our programs’ success.
“The MBA program has enjoyed significant growth in enrollment and rankings under our
program director Dr. Matt Bowler’s leadership. Congratulations to him and the rest
of the Watson team.”
OSU offers three distinct MBA programs designed to meet the needs of students and
professionals worldwide. OSU’s in-person MBA experience is based in Stillwater, while
the professional MBA is a flexible, hybrid program based in Tulsa. The Spears Business
online MBA is among the nation’s best and skyrocketed to No. 11 in the U.S. News &
World Report rankings.
The part-time MBA program checked in at No. 80 in the 2025 U.S. News and World Report
rankings.
U.S. News & World Report annually ranks graduate schools based on expert opinions
about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a
school’s faculty, research and students. Tuesday’s release ranked the nation’s top
133 full-time MBA programs.
“The recent U.S. News & World Report rankings serve as affirmation for the hard work
and dedication of our faculty and staff in offering a first-rate graduate business
education,” said Dr. Jim Payne, dean of Spears Business.
