Poole College Congratulates Fall 2025 Graduates

On Dec. 11, 503 undergraduate students will cross the stage in Reynolds Coliseum to officially become Poole College alumni and begin their professional careers.

Meet Our Graduates

Elise Yun – Business Administration, Information Technology Concentration 

Business administration and information technology student Elise Yun joined Poole in 2023 as an external transfer. She served as a Poole student ambassador and an executive board member of the Korean American Student Association. 

“Through both roles, I’ve been able to build leadership, communication and organizational skills while contributing to a strong campus community,” Yun said. She further built her skill set through internships with Cisco and First Citizens Bank. 

After graduation, Yun hopes to obtain a full-time position and move to a big city. She is excited to explore new opportunities and make connections in a different environment.

Laniya Young – Business Administration, Marketing Concentration 

Laniya Young joined Poole in 2022 as a business administration major with a concentration in marketing and a film studies minor. “My favorite thing about Poole is the people. Everyone is so welcoming and open to different perspectives,” Young said. 

She served as the secretary of Poole’s Peer Career Coaches, providing students with professional guidance and resources. Young was the president of Code Red and a member of Sigma Gamma Rho. She also studied abroad in Paris, France during spring break 2025. 

Young gained an internship through the Poole College of Management Career and Internship Fair with Enterprise Mobility. She also interned with NC State Athletics and Arm’s Reach. After graduation, Young plans to pursue a career in sales and marketing.

Ben Cole – Business Administration, Business Analytics Concentration 

Business administration and business analytics student Ben Cole joined Poole in 2022. He served on the executive boards of the American Marketing Association and 180 Degrees Consulting. Cole also co-founded the NC State Sales Club and was a four-time competitor with the Pack Global Case Club.

“Opportunities like these show how many ways Poole empowers students to grow, lead and represent the college around the world,” Cole said. 

After learning about the role at the Poole College of Management Career fair, he interned with Red Hat last summer as a business analyst intern. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in technology consulting in Boston or New York City.

Sarah Odeh – Business Administration, People Management Concentration 

Sarah Odeh joined Poole in 2023 as a transfer student from Wake Tech Community College. On campus, she served as a Poole peer career coach and an Arab Student Organization member. Odeh was also a social media intern and ambassador for NC State’s Community College Collaboration program. 

Outside of campus, Odeh interned with SAS as an emerging careers talent acquisition intern. “This experience has shaped my passion for talent acquisition and inspired me to continue pursuing a career that connects people with opportunity,” she said. 

Odeh will graduate with a degree in business administration with a concentration in people management. After graduation, she will pursue her Masters of Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
